Appointing Groundco, we provide high standards of build and peace of mind. In modern-day in construction, cutting corners and providing below-par standards of work is too common a practice. Labour not turning up, corners being cut and a snagging list that can take months to sort out, if at all.
At Groundco, we have a few sayings.
– ‘It is a marathon, not a sprint. ‘ Rome was not built in a day. If a project is rushed, corners are cut, then the result will be shoddy and not up to standard.
– ‘If it is too good to be true, then it is too good to be true‘ If a price for a project is considerably low, as in, the price provided, is considerably lower than quotes from other contractors, then either the labour may not qualified and or may not have the experience, or the materials allowed for are, may not be to the specification required.
Over the past 30+ years, our team have carried out projects in challenging conditions and being appointed in many rolls, as Primary contractors, Construction consultants, Project managers, Clerk of works, Builders, Sub-contactors, for private clients, commercial, industrial clients, councils, public authorities, the MOD jus to name a few, in and around the Godalming area and further afield.
