We are construction consultants and building contractors based in Godalming, Surrey, in the South East of England
We work as a subcontractor and as a principal and package Contractor. We operate closely with sectors, including retail, commercial, education, infrastructure, highways and for local authorities and public-owned organisations
We partner with our Clients from an early stage, assisting them to plan and programme the works efficiently. During our pre-construction phase, we also assist our Clients with value engineering and buildability exercises. Once we commence on site, our own in-house managers and engineers ensure that the projects are carried out on time, to budget, and safely
This ethos has led to continued repeat business in project management roles and new builds for clients, from private clients to providing project management for large construction companies, Countryside/Vistry Construction, Wates Construction, and Shanley Homes.
Our focus is on projects ranging from £5,000 to £2.5m
We operate under various forms of contract, including JCT, NEC and bespoke client forms of contracts

Guildford Construction provide a detailed summary of the project plan once the contracts have been signed, with a full-time tracker outlining the time scale of projects, ensuring the project tasks are carried out in an efficient and timely manner, on time and on budget.
All our team members have advanced DBS and there is a first aid personnel on site.
Health and Safety
Unlike some contractors, H&S is not taken seriously. We have seen many instances where the site team has little or no PPE. GroundCo is fully trained in health and safety and ensures toolbox talks and the correct PPE is used.
Insurance
GroundCo are fully covered for insurance bespoke for each project, up to £10m, ensuring you, as the client, are protected. When employing contractors, insist on seeing the Insurance and it is up-to-date. will it cover you if anything occurs?
