Types of Outdoor Tiles and Paving Slabs
Indian Stone Paving Slabs
Natural Stone, i.e. Indian Stone, is ideal for garden paths, patio's shed bases.
– Benefits? Great value for money and provides an easy-to-clean, non-slip surface. Being a natural material, as in natural stone, is cut from a large natural rock and is natural and easy to lay
– Negatives? Potentially can lift due to water expanding during cold weather. Porous and will discolour in time
Porcelain: Porcelain tiles are a man-made option. They are made from a mixture of clay, feldspar, and kaolin, which is then fired at an extremely high temperature to create a dense and durable tile.
– Positives – Porcelain tiles come in a variety of colours and finishes, and they can be made to mimic the look of natural stone. Long-lasting, easy to clean, and look amazing
– Negatives? Porcelain tiles can be slippery when wet or in cold weather with ice or snow. It can crack if not laid correctly. Higher cost than stone, due to the manufacturing process and installation cost
PAVING SLABS & CERAMIC TILES

WET POUR RUBBER SURFACE
We provide a full turn-key wet pour groundworks service for outdoor Play Equipment contractors. We work to the design and technical specification, setting up the levels and carrying out all dig, sub-base, installing eco-matt weed control fabric matting, and scalping ready for the wet pour surface.
The Wetpour surface can be laid onto existing tarmac, concrete or prepared bases, making it ideal for play spaces.
